This type of behavior inherently sides with the abusers. You're letting hundreds/thousands of people off the hook here because it makes you feel bad to empathize

I really think that the public's understanding of how data centers physically interact with their communities is bordering on a low level mass delusion. The actual numbers and impact just do not at all bear out how people feel about them.

For some of its capabilities, toss up, for research and complex questions? We can at least guesstimate

@ArthurN37229758 AI in creative field will mostly be a tool used to make logos faster, maybe eventually something more in ~2 or ~9 years, but I just can't see that happening without significant warning that an actual change is coming. Just a lot of advancements in especially research + marketing

@ArthurN37229758 The main idea of AI moving forward is actually mass research lol. Right now it's barely even a 1:1 assistant, but the goal of OpenAI is to create 'AI Enterprise research' so 1 person who would otherwise be doing menial work is fact checking dozens of AI, and this is a slow push

AI should be used sparingly in the creative fields. I feel like there's a huge misunderstanding regarding AI usage. It's ok if AI is used as a tool to speed up and make working a little easier, but it is NOT okay when AI is used to fully make the creative work, and THEN the creator claims it is all done by him when it fact all he did is type some words. That's just straight up lying

I cannot trust the anti-AI side. They condemn any and all use of AI no matter what, not just deceptive or malicious uses of it. They use the high-minded excuse of “protecting human creativity,” but in truth, they’re just terrible people obsessed with ruling over everyone.

@transgreghouse Most of my family fell to the opioid crisis and I had to watch 2 of them get hooked on H. Multiple of the addictions started due to severe back pain. It can hit anyone, and it's no more or less shameful than someone who chased the dragon too far. Everyone's a victim, nobody wins.

@TeasMoonlight @duskangelz If that drive is clear, you can keep it and move your sensitive info to that other drive. Photos, documents, games, whatever. Then reformat the C: drive and reinstall windows from scratch. Otherwise, move what you know 100% to be safe to a phone or other device then reformat
