A well-written story can have multiple interpretations but they still point in the same direction. With #WetSand, it doesn’t have layered storytelling, it has unresolved setup thats why half the fandom can’t even agree on what the story was building toward.

Ambiguity can be powerful but only if it’s intentional & supported. It’s not that WS has 0 value. It has strong atmosphere. However, structurally, it struggles w/ clarity, consistency & &payoff. The writing builds a lot, but doesn’t resolve it in a coherent way. #WetSand #웻샌드
