@mono34724 @khadijasummers @RobynRose287912 Theories are cute until everyone has a completely diff version of the story in their head. Atp it’s not ‘open to interpretation, it’s just inconsistent writing. If your story has people debating what the plot even was, that’s a writing problem.

@khadijasummers @RobynRose287912 She did a good job, but the story requires a more mature audience, which it didn't quite reach. As a result, her message failed to get through to either side of the fandom, as everyone was too focused on their favorite character's perspective.

I finally understand what WET SAND represents. It is TJ—that is his essence, his color. Imagine you go to a beach and see wet sand. You sit down and find that you can mold it into any shape, much like building a sandcastle. However, these shapes are fleeting—the moment you let go, the sand crumbles and loses its form. This is TJ. That is what he has become in Ian's hands. Wet Sand is the perfect metaphor for TJ's existence—as long as Ian shapes him, TJ holds JOSEPH'S form. But the moment Ian let's go, that form dissolves. His existence is limited to the brief time that Ian is shaping. He will remain in that form as long as Ian shapes him. Like the sand, he is malleable and fragile, taking on whatever form is forced upon him. It is a haunting reflection of his existence.

@lotusmandu I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I'm still a bit of a newcomer to comics myself. Right now, I'm really into 'Yang Il-woo and Me' (it reminds me a lot of 'Wet Sand') and 'Slammer Dogs' 😅

Ambiguity can be powerful but only if it’s intentional & supported. It’s not that WS has 0 value. It has strong atmosphere. However, structurally, it struggles w/ clarity, consistency &
&payoff. The writing builds a lot, but doesn’t resolve it in a coherent way. #WetSand #웻샌드
