Rewilding, beavers, wild boar & meter long parasitic worms! Oh & the tendency of media to focus on drama rather than slow journey towards a more involved positive relationship with our landscapes (mea culpa ☺️) What a great talk @sophiepavs @hannahrudman @PCairnsPhoto @CSLyons

Chemical suppliers breeding customers to be reliant on their product - I've enjoyed the metaphor of modern farming as The Wire, @tomheapmedia. Makes me think of Giles Oldroyd as Omar, strolling through with his shotgun of self-fertilising crops

Pleased to sign this letter to the PM calling on him to end sales of horticultural peat - something that should’ve been done decades ago (& that the Tories failed to do):
Plantlife@Love_plants

We’re letting @keir_starmer know that we want to #EndPeatSales now📢 The longer we wait, the more precious #peatlands are destroyed for use in #horticulture📉 Let's leave peat in the ground🌱 Find out more 👉 bit.ly/4ec4a1T @PFpartnership @ChrisGPackham

🇫🇷🚗⚡️ First time I’ve seen this. The whole of @CarrefourGroup supermarket car park in France covered in solar panels. Seems such a logical move. (Added benefit of shading/rain protection for cars) Why don’t UK supermarkets do this?
