I think Utd will qualify for the Champions League and on that basis, it’s entirely fair that Carrick is a serious contender for the job but it’s not about being fair at this level. The question Utd have to answer is, is Carrick the man who can win us the league or is there a better candidate? Whatever the answer is to that question should be the only determinant factor in who gets the job

People are so fucking WEIRD about the subway. New Yorkers. tourists. People who’ve never ridden the subway….EVERYONE. It’s the largest transit system in the largest city in the United States. It’s never going to be perfect but it’s certainly not a war zone.

I ride the subway every single day. I only take a car to the airport or if public transit isn’t feasible. I’ve ridden the subway at all hours. I’m not scared of getting attacked or assaulted any more than I am as a woman living in this world in any place.

Wild how time has changed for the worse.
