Non-Russian crew on a neutral vessel watches Ukrainian FPV drones slam into Muscovite oil tankers in the Azov like it's a live demo. Su-30SM flails around trying to swat them. That's not "escalation." That's the bill for imperial piracy coming due in real time. Every drone hit is one less tanker moving stolen crude, one less revenue stream funding the meat grinder. Moscow can't protect its own backyard anymore. Their "invincible" fleet and air cover are paper tigers against cheap, mass-produced Ukrainian tech. We don't need lectures on de-escalation. We need more drones, more range, and zero illusions that Putin will stop until his logistics burn out completely. The math is simple: keep feeding the grinder or watch the empire collapse.

UBS 2026 Global Wealth Report confirms the typical (ie. median) Canadian is 2x wealthier than the median American. Cda ranks 7th on median wealth, US 28th. Galactic hoards of Musk, Bezos, et al inflate the US average but virtually none flows to most Americans. #canlab #cdnecon /2

China’s property market has fallen 23% in real terms. Prices have dropped for 35 straight months. 65 to 80 million homes sit empty. Chinese banks report bad loans of 1.52%. Essentially unchanged since before the bust. For context: the US peaked at 5.6%. Spain at 13.6%. Ireland above 25%. Either China found a way to crash a property market without producing bad loans, or the losses exist and simply have not been recognized. I tried to reconstruct the full balance sheet of the Chinese banking system from public data, not just property: local government debt, corporates, regional banks, wealth products, insurance, Belt and Road, bond books. All estimates, all assumptions shown. Base case: a true economic loss of roughly $7.7 tn. About 15x what China discloses. First published by Brent Johnson on @SantiagoAuFund on his blog research.santiagocapital.com. Now you can read it on my blog as well 👇 open.substack.com/pub/michaelnic… #China #ChineseBanks #Banks #NPLs #Credit #Yuan #CNH #CNY #Renminbi #BadDebt #NonPerforming #Debt

@ProfesorRefer @davidfrum You can do everything, but some things you can do only once! And this is one of these things, that will be done only once! For most of the time the short term thinking doesn’t account for long term consequences!

@ProfesorRefer @davidfrum Jd, what is it that you don’t understand about signed agreements? Imagine you signed agreements with your bank, let’s call it mortgage, six months later they force you to change the terms just because they can, in their favour !

Trump just showed Canada exactly what leverage looks like. Canada financed the Gordie Howe Bridge. The U.S. refused to pay, delayed the opening, then walked away with 50% of toll revenue and influence over future toll increases. We paid for the asset. America negotiated the upside. Canada lost the deal.

Ethical Skeptic is a proven fraud who manipulates fake graphs with hidden "adjustments" to falsify his claims. He's been objectively wrong on every claim he's ever made, without exception (nor can you show a single exception.) He once claimed that Covid was over in June. June 2020. He also blocks anyone who challenges him or asks for his methodology. I've offered him $100,000 for charity to replicate his findings worldwide but he refused. Dozens of countries around the world show no cancer signal including the USA, UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Australia. Here are receipts of Ethical Skeptic's fraudulent claims: sars2.net/ethical.html sars2.net/ethical2.html sars2.net/ethical3.html sars2.net/ethical4.html REAL data:

@mnicoletos About 15x what China discloses...? If THEY don't disclose it how did YOU find it? Please spare me...your analysis is based on speculations, assumptions & unknowns assuming they are "hiding" things...classic western bias..go ahead keep teaching all the western experts abt China.

The shadow fleet is bleeding out in the Azov like a punctured tanker. Fourteen vessels hit in one night, part of thirty-five tankers, dry cargo ships and support craft taken out in under four days. These are not random boats. Every one of them was already under sanctions, every one feeding the Kremlin war machine with stolen or laundered oil. While Moscow's mouthpieces scream about phantom victories in some ruined village that cost them more orcs than the place had residents before 2022, their logistics backbone is literally on fire. This is what real pressure looks like. Not another round of strongly worded statements in Brussels. Not another pathetic attempt to negotiate with a regime that needs permanent war to survive. Putin cannot afford peace. Demobilize a million conscripts who have seen nothing but meat assaults and stolen washing machines for years and they will start asking the only question that matters in that shithole: what the fuck was this for? The imperial project collapses the moment the body bags stop justifying the power vertical. That is why every so-called "peace proposal" from the Kremlin or its useful idiots in Washington is pure theater. Ukraine is not asking for favors. We are doing the West's dirty work at a fraction of what it would cost NATO to fight the same enemy on its own borders tomorrow. Every drone strike on a Crimean fuel depot, every shadow fleet hull sent to the bottom, every refinery turned into a smokestack is money not spent on European rearmament programs that would otherwise be triggered by a Russian breakthrough. The math is brutal but simple: arming Ukraine is the cheapest European security policy available. Anything less is just deferring the bill to your own capitals. The long-range game is shifting fast. By the end of 2026 our mid-range strike capacity will be two to five times what it is now. Moscow's operational logistics in occupied Ukraine will be burning faster than they can repair it. Crimea is being isolated in plain sight. Meanwhile their z-bloggers quietly admit another mobilization wave changes nothing except the monthly butcher's bill. More bodies, same meat grinder, bigger deficit. The regime in the Kremlin has no path to victory left. It can still murder civilians, wreck power stations, and threaten nuclear tantrums, but none of that alters the battlefield reality. Nuclear use solves nothing for them. It turns Russia into a global pariah, triggers conventional retaliation from NATO, and convinces every mid-sized country on Earth that they need their own deterrent yesterday. Beijing and New Delhi understand this perfectly. The deterrent only works if it is never used. Once the taboo breaks, Moscow loses its last friends. We do not need lectures from isolationists who think ceding Ukrainian land buys them peace. It buys the next war on worse terms and closer to their homes. History already ran that experiment in the 1930s. The result had a name, and it was not peace. The only outcome that ends this permanently is complete military defeat of the imperial project. No frozen lines. No face-saving deals. Full restoration of sovereignty, reparations, and a thorough cleansing of collaborator networks in the liberated territories. Moscow must be broken into multiple successor states the way the Soviet Union was. Anyone telling you that outcome is dangerous has not been paying attention. The Soviet collapse did not trigger world war. It removed a threat. The same will be true here. We are not waiting for permission. The strikes continue. The shadow fleet shrinks. The rear areas burn. And every useful idiot still peddling Kremlin narratives in Western capitals should explain to their own voters why they are so eager to make their own countries the next line of contact. We stand. Moscow falls. The rest is detail.

PM @MarkJCarney has been waging a war in the shadows against Donald Trump, using a network of elite connections to quietly undermine the U.S. President at every turn. The WSJ reports the exclusive details of how it happened, and the answer has nothing to do with tariffs or troops. 🧵👇 (1/8)

🔥🚢10 Russian vessels were stuck overnight in the Sea of Azov! The targets included 8 sanctioned shadow-fleet fuel tankers, 1 dry cargo ship, and 1 ferry involved in supplying occupied Crimea. The identified tankers are Venera-3, Sanar-1, Sanar-17, Klimena, Teti, Alexey Savrasov, and Penelope, with one more still being identified. Each tanker has a deadweight of around 7,000 tons, is about 140 meters long, and was built between 2006 and 2012.

A reminder that if the Trudeau government hadn’t reversed the Harper-era reforms to the OAS eligibility age, Ottawa would now be saving roughly $5–8B per year and about $10–15B annually by 2030. That’s roughly the equivalent of 0.5 to 1.5 points on the GST.
Canada Spends@canada_spends

In just 10 years, federal spending on OAS programs has nearly doubled. Since 1980, it's increased over 1100%. Our bill is growing at ~5.7% each year while our average GDP growth over the same 45-year period has been ~2.3%.
