The fact Lover sounds exactly like old Taylor except stronger and happier..everything about it is so familiar yet completely fresh and new. It literally feels like I’ve been listening to it for just 20 seconds but also maybe 20 years

Who remembers this guys prediction saying the Queen will die on September 8, 2022? She did in fact die as predicted. Well, he’s also predicting that King Charles will die tomorrow, March 28, 2026. Let’s see what happens. 👀

@DrJessTaylor The point is anyone can have autism. Not fat, unattractive, masculine, textured haired, messy people. Autism can still be conventionally pretty. Your take is silly.

‘Autistic Barbie’ by Mattel just landed. So, let’s get into it. She is thin. Conventionally attractive. Feminine. Long straight haired. Neatly presented. Barbie-proportioned. Minidress and long legs. And what marks her out as autistic? Headphones. A fidget spinner. And I quote, a ‘vacant look in her eye’ according to Mattel, to represent that ‘autistic people struggle with eye contact’. That’s it. Be real with me. This is not representation of autistic lives. It’s aesthetic labelling. Autism reduced to a single, sanitised visual cue that has become popularised through social media stereotypes. Headphones function as a shorthand for ‘sensory sensitivity’, which is then flattened into ‘autism’. This is branding and commodification of autism. “Autism is where you have headphones on and a vacant look in your eye.” I mean. Are we being serious? Nothing about this doll reflects the material realities of autistic people’s lives. There is no engagement with power, exclusion, or harm. Autism is treated as something you accessorise, not something that shapes how you are treated by schools, employers, healthcare systems, families, friends, partners, police, courts, prisons, or the state. But forget about all that. Look pretty, get your legs out, and play with your fidget spinner, sis. My new article sharing my views has arrived.

Wait, so the woman who hired dancers that were mostly POC and/or LGBT, many with non-traditional body types, because she "wanted everyone to be able to see themselves in the Eras Tour," and then made all of those dancers rich because she believes that workers should share in the fruits of their labor... might be a liberal?
ely@nyyely13

craziest thing is that if people would watch the two episodes with good intentions, they would see the obvious liberal standpoints and the precedences she’s trying to establish to get the industry to be more labor friendly

My fav part of the eras doc was absolutely Florence being in awe of Taylor the performer. When even her friends see her on stage as the major star she is..especially people that are also performers...it's a level of respect we rarely see performers get in their own lifetime

disclaimer I haven’t listened to a Taylor swift song in like 10 years but I’ve just seen so many brain dead takes on this albums success that I gotta say something lmao billboard only counts 4 physical sales per customer and 1 digital sale per week fyi and her building a fanbase (off of music) dedicated enough to actually PURCHASE her music should be nothing but admired yalls favorite artists fake their STREAMS and do not actually SELL shit lmao and yet she’s being clowned for building a fanbase so dedicated that they BUY her music. yall are fucking idiots and have the game backwards 😂
