Val updates: I went back to my old corporate job that I left for the fancy job that laid me off. Back to my old team, cafeteria, and same gross coffee machine. Today was my first real paycheck in over 9 months. A huge stressful weight has been lifted.

I’m coming up on 4 months of being unemployed and to say the depression cloud has been hanging over me is an understatement. I’m slowly getting out of my funk and I’m trying to be patient and give myself grace but I feel like I’m not doing enough with my time. *deep breath*
