@meatypepper That’s what it was for me too. I was eating straight burger patties by the end. But ice and chocolate were huge for me-still are and I’m 16mos pp. I was always a little low iron and my daughter just sucked it all up 😝 Spinach can blend into chocolate nicely though!

@lowlyworm_ 8a. I'm not sure what I could reasonably companion plant with tomatoes, tbh. I usually end up doing smaller, shorter season tomatoes and then a second round later while hoping for a late frost. It's usually too hot in the middle of the summer for any fruit to set.

@lowlyworm_ I really need to can instead of freezing...we have five freezers and my husband isn't happy about it. 😅 I've been freezing for several years instead of canning, but we really do need to pare down on the number of freezers running.

I read that encouraging kids to read mystery novels naturally sets them up to read more deeply -- because you have to in order to figure it out.
