@jacobfogie Seems that way now but if umps call a delay sooner, tarps are on quicker and this situation isn’t happening. At the time the game started, it wasn’t bad enough to postpone.

Congratulations to the Atlanta Braves for possibly the worst handling of a rain delay I have ever seen in my life. Not a single update and a sea of boos rain over Truist Park when the tarps are finally pulled out after 2 hours

@EvanWebeck Braves are the mercy of the chief ump and his crew so this is defintely a mismanagement by them for not going about it right and how it affected the fans

They're still talking! This has taken so long that it has resumed raining again. And, for the first time, the tarp is coming out. Boos from the fans, a good chunk of whom are still here despite zero in-stadium messaging from the Braves.

Tony Vitello and Walt Weiss out there inspecting the infield now. If they sign off, teams are targeting 10 pm ET to resume play.

Field looks good. Rain has stopped. Looks like they are putting some touches on the infield. There are some scattered spots on the radar that might be causing a short pause on restarting. Nothing official, just my observation. Club Braves is dominating.

I think it’s time to bring back Chief Wahoo, the Cleveland Indians logo back. It was one of the most iconic logos in sports and a huge part of baseball history. Most fans saw it as a symbol of their team, not something offensive. Not everything from the past needs to be erased. Some traditions are worth keeping!

@GuntherEagleman The Indian logo was to represent the first Indian player in baseball and he played for Cleveland this was to honor them not to belittle them like the Democrats do besides I'm sure there are thousands of fans who have tattoos of this on them and would love to see it come back
