Dudes don't want to hear this but if you have a party in 2026, you gotta have at least a 1:1 ratio of hard seltzer to beer. No one's gonna ask you to pick up seltzers and everyone will say they want beer, but I guarantee the seltzers are gonna run out first.

@bryan_johnson That's pretty remarkable considering it's hard to find water anywhere on planet earth that is ND for all PFAS by Method 1633. It can't just be your RO system. Food is an equally big exposure pathway for PFAS. Do you have rules for where you source your food too? Food packaging?

PFAS NOT DETECTED I routinely measure my water for toxins. One toxin that I pay special attention to is PFAS. PFAS are "forever chemicals" that refuse to break down, bioaccumulating in the body and bloodstream. They are potent endocrine disruptors, mimicking hormones to wreak havoc on your metabolism, immune system, and reproductive health. Long term exposure is linked to liver damage, thyroid disease, and increased risk of cancer. I just retested, this time, with a more sensitive PFAS test. Since the last test, the lab switched to EPA Method 1633, which is a newer, more sensitive PFAS method that looks for more compounds at lower detection limits than the previous panels. Result: “NOT DETECTED” on dozens of individual PFAS measured. That doesn’t exactly mean PFAS don’t exist. It means they can be there, but below what this test can reliably see and quantify, which is in the low single-digit parts-per-trillion range. The water purification system I use is reverse osmosis. It's worth routinely testing your water to make sure toxin levels are in check. The PFAS test we used is from simplelab.

Anyone who has ever been to Venezuela knows it has wonderful people, amazing geography, and tons of potential, despite being in a very challenging time right now. I'm excited to see the next steps the Venezuelan people take. I took these pictures there in 2016. 5/5

But (I think) everyone wants Venezuela to be a stable country that can stand on it's own feet, trade with the US, and return to being an idyllic place in the region. This would serve everyone's objectives. It seems like that should be the focus of US foreign policy right now. 4/

Perspective on the 50 million barrels of #sanctioned #oil that President Trump plans to acquire from #Venezuela: It's about 12 hours of global supply, or a little under 3 days of US refinery capacity. Without weighing in on the political aspects, I think the real win is... 1/

@cremieuxrecueil The other thing I take away from this graph is that we still have a lot of work to do on changing the mainstream narrative on nuclear power.

#ai #infrastructure builders: y'all are running out of time to think about this. This is America - local opposition can (and, honestly, *should be able to*) kill projects. We can't afford to lose the AI race. Ground game people! industrialinfo.com/news/article/u…

@altcap has an important thing to say here - if you are in the industry, listen up. We'll lose the AI race with China if everyday people don't like it. Power cost, perceived job losses, etc... kill projects. It's a solvable problem thogh! 1/ From 27:18 open.spotify.com/episode/4K92C9…

Interesting to look at actual manufacturing data over the past 10 years, with headlines that the sector is collapsing "because tariffs". I see a persistently depressed manufacturing environment that started in 2022. Tarrifs may be preventing a recovery, but they didn't cause it.

And for those asking "why are we doing something that relies on subsidies" - remember that energy companies make decarb commitments to their stakeholders all over the world. Ability to sequester CO2 makes a region more attractive to invest, regardless of 45Q credits. Capitalism.

Bet you haven't thought about Class 6 primacy in about 308 days! Texas taking over this program, combined with their "open-for-business" regs and culture, will turn them into a CO2 sequestration powerhouse. This will attract foreign energy investment. industrialinfo.com/news/article.j…
