On the call today, @zomato claims EatClub has no CCTV recordings. Interesting, because on a recorded call right after the incident, @eatclubsupport themselves confirmed they DO. EatClub has gone silent since. Feels like a ghost company when accountability is needed.

@zomatocare @zomato just made things WORSE. I clearly said on both email and call that refund should NOT be processed since it doesn’t solve the issue. They agreed on call then 15 minutes later, processed it anyway. An obvious attempt to close the matter without consent.

In one of the initial emails, @zomato asked me to send pictures of the packaging as "evidence." When I asked how photos of empty boxes would prove anything, they had no answer. Guess they just wanted to look like they were "trying" before sending their usual canned response.

Interestingly, @zomatocare just called and said they still can't do anything because their partner restaurant couldn't provide evidence, apparently @eatclubsupport either denied or ignored their request for the CCTV footage.

On the other hand, @eatclubsupport called me the same night and said they have CCTV footage of the kitchen, but never confirmed if they actually checked it. Over email, they just keep saying sorry and asking me to contact @zomato, who has already raised their hands.

After my tweet, @zomato emailed me and said they can't do anything since they're an "intermediary." But under Section 94 of the Consumer Protection Act & E-Commerce Rules 2020, platforms like Zomato must ensure due diligence and can’t deny responsibility when their listings cause consumer harm.

@onepluscareIN @OnePlus_Support Apparently the @OnePlus_Support @onepluscareIN team took over weeks of escalations, false promises and lies to come back and tell me they cannot do anything about my broken buds still in warranty. Now there's one brand I know I never want to purchase again.
