I get it, not a "low float" anymore - but fundamentally, now this is investable. It will be exciting to see them test the massive oil potential of the Jameson Basin now that they can fund the $60 million in capex for the two wells required to earn 70% of the concession. (2/2)

Up until yesterday, there was a ton of risk in holding $GLND - they had no money to drill the wells required to earn into their only asset (Jameson Basin, Greenland). Now they are funded; main shortterm risk is gone; drilling catalysts going forward. (1/2)

I've received a handful of "where'd you go" DMs. I'm still around and lurking, and I have a lot to say.... But sadly I've got to update a bunch of compliance disclosures and stuff before I can resume posting in any detail about individual securities. Hopefully be back in the next week or two.

@daniel_koss Shouldn’t you hold for 6 months minimum though in your jurisdiction? Or through fund you bay pass that?

I’ve bought and sold $NBIS countless times. Here’s why that’s actually the most bullish thing I can do. I model and track many stocks. $NBIS is still by far my best risk/reward. But I’m a perfectionist. I invest full time. Just holding isn’t enough for me. My personal rule: → “If I can’t outperform $NBIS’s yearly return, I should just hold and do nothing.” So I actively try to: •Sell when sentiment turns (even if unjustified, like the Michael Burry AI bear thesis) •Buy back when I think the next leg up is coming His bear case was that GPUs would depreciate within 2-3 years. That has been completely falsified. We now see that even 5-6 years might be too pessimistic. Even the oldest GPUs are seeing prices rally. Supply shortage is that strong, and it’s only getting worse. Has it always worked? No. Will I make mistakes again? Absolutely. Has it worked overall? Yes. I’ve outperformed buy-and-hold $NBIS both last year and this year. People comment under every trade: “Trading doesn’t work.” They’re right. For most people. My actual advice is simple: buy quality, hold until the thesis breaks. That’s it. But that advice isn’t for me. I’m optimizing for every percent. I have the time, the models, and the track record to justify active trading. One more thing on taxes: If you’re in a country with capital gains tax, please don’t do what I do. The tax drag alone makes it not worth it. I invest through a fund in a zero-tax jurisdiction. Different rules apply. How do you guys think about trading? Would love to hear some smarter opinions than "trading never works".

@CatSE___ApeX___ By when do your realistically predict for $ASTS to have a constellation allowing continuous service up in the air? Also, by when do you believe they might finish the constellation? The 2nd question is re post from couple years ago stating that best stock appreciation is till then

$ASTS has had a learning rate of cutting time between launches with some ~42% for each new launch. Production capacity & launcher availability will limit that beyond first batch launch of Block2. It’s no longer their ability to iterate & innovate that limits launch cadence. 1/

Took a closer look: Yamamura glass (TYO: 5210) is a banger. You’re basically buying the business for free? And their photonics division is growing 91% Y/Y for optical communication caps. You are paying $240M for a company that does $500M sales with $360M+ in actual book value (factories, equipment, cash) and a fast growing AI DC photonics division. Before this was a trap but -> they upped dividend amount to 5.5%, which is the biggest signal that value is now unlocked. And now from their Feb 12th earnings, they confirmed this was structural (not just one off that markets were fearing) It’s just wait and chill basically?

Thoughts on the Micron-PSMC Deal Honestly... I just don’t understand why SJ made this deal. The production capacity secured through this acquisition is only around 20,000 wpm (wafers per month). That’s less than 1% of global DRAM production capacity—an extremely insignificant volume. The PSMC fab that Micron is buying is tiny compared to competitors: Samsung’s P4 fab (200,000 wpm) or SK Hynix’s M15X fab (900,000 wpm). Even if the deal closes, actual wafer starts and chip output won’t happen until mid-2027 or later. On top of that, despite being a new fab, the PSMC facility was built for legacy processes, making it very difficult to introduce EUV equipment. In other words, the most advanced DRAM this fab can realistically produce is around the 1a node, and spending $1.8 billion for that simply doesn’t make sense to me. In my view, the PSMC fab is worth $1 billion at the absolute most. I just can’t rationally make sense of this deal.
