@BadisDesigns I think the best investment is to challenge yourself to create/recreate one top-tier thumbnail every day. If we rely only on client requests, we end up stuck in the same old routine

I want to invest in something that can help me grow as a thumbnail designer. I've already bought a laptop, a good chair and desk, and a decent mouse. What else could be useful for me in this field?

@apollonator3000 I believe there's no need for a before after screen after generating the image. Sometimes people want to make more than one edit, and having to go back or close the window each time can be a bit annoying.

I love AI, it’s an opportunity for people with more creativity than technical skills to finally get in the game. What I’ve noticed is that every time a new tool comes out, people freak out like it’s the end of the world for their jobs. But after a few days, the hype fades, and that tool just becomes another helpful part of the workflow.

hmm our mission at 1of10 is to lower the barrier of entry for people to start creating and grow which in turn will hopefully lead to higher quality content online. Making great, clickable thumbnails is a big hurdle when you're just starting out, especially if you don't have the @MrBeast budget. In the past month, we’ve seen tons of creators start using the 1of10 thumbnail generator instead of scrambling to figure out Canva or Photoshop. One YouTuber even told us he got back into livestreaming because he didn’t have to worry about making thumbnails every day, which is what used to hold him back. As for thumbnail designers, the highest quality thumbnails will always need a human touch. I don't see AI replacing anytime soon at the top level. But this is also the perfect time for designers to use AI to their advantage and 10x their quality and output. We’ve seen thumbnail designers use the generator to create 80% of the thumbnail, then add their own touch to finish it off with that extra level of quality. Always opened to feedbacks to change my mind but for now I see a big net positive for the creator community using thumbnail generators, especially those starting off.
