The way I see it with the 30th anniversary set, Pokemon had two choices when printing/planning. 1. Make pull rates extremely easy, tanking singles prices.... Which in turn does drive prices of sealed down and would cool it off a bit. or 2. Watch the most insane chaos unfold for this hobby it has ever seen in it's 30 years.... Beyond PRE/ASC, beyond COVID, beyond peak WOTC. While I am hopeful for the former, I fear that we may experience the latter. I truly sympathize with all of my fellow collectors on a budget as this set has the potential to price many out. I also sympathize with all of those that are like myself that will struggle to catch anything because of work/responsibilities. Let's hope that the rest of the year isn't as chaotic as it could potentially be and let's hope everyone is able to enjoy this set.

@PokemonRestockr If this is the quality of the english press for 30th, then I’m buying Japanese singles too. The 25th anniversary set had far superior quality and finish. I will collect both, but just singles with the Japanese cards.

@CharizardEats Yeah, I don’t believe that for a second. Once ETBs for the 30th anniversary are stocked on shelves consistently for months will I believe the hobby is healed. Yesterday’s PC etb preorders tells me otherwise.
