Another long but important post today, witches. Because after our Founder Jennie appeared on The Project on Monday night, other publications have decided to weigh in with their opinion of MFW, and we want to address them. (And if you have time please read the entire post and respond, don’t get stuck on just the meme.) The first is a great piece by our friends at Independent Australia. We recommend this and thank them very much for it: search.app/336ikZFbDTsgSf… The second two, though, contain a hella lot of insults, misinformation and lies. Because both are written by employees of Channels 7 and 9 who, while they do agree Kyle’s behaviour is horrific, can’t seem to bring themselves to thank or much agree with a coven of angry sweary women (and men). And because when the mainstream media decide they can’t ignore us any longer, they quickly pivot to denigrating us instead. Threatened, much? We won’t link the pieces or name their authors as we can’t be bothered giving them clicks and attention. You can find them if you want. But we will discuss some of the twisted information they’re spreading: not for them (we don’t give a damn what they think), but so witches know the facts. The first is from some guy at Channel 9. Sigh. At least we first get a few compliments here. He says our campaigns are “devastatingly effective”. He repeats 2GB’s advertising dropped “by as much as 50 percent after the MFW advertiser attack”, which is cheery to remember. And he calls Sandilands the “loathsome frontman of KiisFM”, which is all to the good. But he then calls MFW’s campaigns “ugly” and us “sewer rats”, and says The Project forgot to mention MFW are as bad as Kyle since we also do naughty swears and yell online and stuff (and he records some of our cussing which for him is worse than the meme below, as he mysteriously fails to quote it).
