@ZoomerHistorian The more I learn about the events surrounding the beginning of WWII, the more I think Churchill just fundamentally fucked us. Our actual enemy was the Soviet Union and communism, and all we had to do was just wait, and let Germany invade and annihilate Russia, and then attack.

How about 1938-39? Hitler’s views on Britain never changed until arguably after 1940 when we rejected his peace offers (which would have meant an alliance and left our entire empire intact), then he was rather understandably seething as he had never expected us to fight such a pointless war and he saw no easy way out Hitler supplying rebels is not proof of anything, we were at war with him.

What Hitler wrote in Mein Kampf in 1924 is about as relevant to World War 2 as Winston Churchill's 1920 article calling Bolshevism a Jewish conspiracy. Because at the end of the day, Hitler formally made alliances and armed nationalists from India, Iraq, Japan, etc under the banner of destroying Judeo-British Imperialism while Winston Churchill intensified the war so the Jewish communist conspiracy could be given half of Europe.

250 years of continuously extinguishing the bottom ~2% of men who could not behave produced the modern Englishman and Anglo-American , who from the early 1700s to early 2000s almost entirely created the modern world.

Under a Restore Britain Government, the most monstrous Pakistani child rapists would not be deported. With the British people's approval, they would be put to death. In my view - if you rape and torture children, you do not deserve to live.

@Empireaesth Not only that had we been more humble and honest as a society and devalued the £ early on, we could have kept the industries alive, and then competed very well with Japan and Germany, and so been able to outgrow the national debt, and adapted to make the Empire profitable

@mfjlewis He also uses a lot of Latin in the masses I have seen him celebrate, so if he mandated that everything apart from the homily is in Latin, then that would be good as well, we also need the rubrics to mandate ad orientum.

John Paul II and Benedict XVI tried (and largely failed) to work with traditionalists. Francis tried (and largely failed) to correct traditionalists. Magnifica Humanitas and his addresses on Sacrosanctum Concilium, it appears that Leo has simply moved on from traditionalists.

@Catholic_bro We have had really weak Popes since Pius XII, the best of the last few was Benedict XVI, however Leo XIV is so far pretty good, he just needs to put his mind to fixing the liturgical mess caused by Paul VI - the Ordinary Form should be modelled on the Ordinariate Use.

A migrant has no place whatsoever to deprive me, as an Englishman, of my ancestral right to bear arms. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 It's bad enough when Englishmen get this wrong. If you don't like Englishmen being armed in England, Yusuf, you can leave.

I don’t care what religion you are. NOBODY other than law enforcement will get to carry deadly weapons under a Reform government. Reform will repeal the exemption for Sikhs to carry the kirpan. We will deploy stop and search and get deadly weapons off our streets.

The antichrist is making his move If France sets this abominable precedent the woke fascist governments oppressing the West will follow suit UK, Germany, Spain and Democrat states in the USA These socialist politicians can see how weak the novus ordo church has become under a succession of secular humanist popes They can see that a humanistic religion has replaced the Catholic Faith How many NO cardinals, bishops and priests do you think would be prepared to sacrifice their cosy, hedonistic lives and go to prison to protect the seal of the confessional? I honestly don't know! In the past we could have replied with certainty, all Catholic bishops and priests would face prison rather than break the seal of the confessional We can't reply with such certainty now, when we see around the world, bishops persecuting faithful Catholics The socialists can see that some of the most zealous persecutors of the faithful are bishops and priests Now they're making their move to destroy the Catholic Church
