It’s been an exciting week for some of the team attending #ISBW14 🇺🇸🌱 There has been so much knowledge exchanged and new connections made to help better seagrass conservation across the world and we’ve loved learning so much from new exciting seagrass research 🌍 #TeamSeagrass

This week our teams are out inspecting seagrass planting trials at 10 sites across the UK. We're working with @wwf_uk @SkyZeroOfficial and @CarlsbergUK to understand where exactly the window for restoration exists.

Project Seagrass was born out of seagrass research conducted in the Indo-Pacific, and we continue to work in the region to help support others with seagrass research and conservation 🌊🌱.

Since #BlackFriday is stupid, did you know that there’s actually a seagrass species that’s black? Zostera nigricaulis is a species of eelgrass native to the Southern Ocean that has a distinctive black stem - it’s the only seagrass species to do so!
