@PalmyrPar @wotancore @GoodAmericanMan There are horrific LED’s and modern miracle LED’s. Like any technology, it can be ruined by bureaucratic bean counters looking for a pat on the back for saving a dollar. LED’s are one of the greatest steps forward in our time, but are hampered by people in power who don’t care.

@wotancore @GoodAmericanMan Maybe it’s the same tone, but don’t LED bulbs also “flicker” many thousands of times a second to conserve energy, thus disrupting the eyes? I remember reading that once, idk if it’s a huge issue though

‘Mr Nowak can be heard saying “can’t breathe.” Police put handcuffs on Mr Nowak, who was lying on his side, telling officers he had been stabbed and that he could not breathe. The officer told Mr Nowak that he was under arrest for suspicion of assault. Mr Nowak repeated that he had been stabbed. A male voice said: “I don’t think you have, mate.”’

Whatever the outcome of the trial in the murder of Henry Nowak - whether the Sikh man is found guilty or not (the trial is still ongoing) - the Police Officer(s) who did not seek immediate medical attention for the stabbed HENRY NOWAK need to be named, prosecuted and put on trial for Manslaughter. “Can’t breath” - Police body cam footage shown in court revealed the moment officers arrested 18-year-old Henry Nowak shortly before his death. Southampton Crown Court heard officers found Mr Nowak leaning against a house wall in Belmont Road, supported by the defendant’s father. The defendant's father said: “He keeps dropping down, so I am just trying to keep him up.” Mr Nowak can be heard saying “can’t breathe.” Police put handcuffs on Mr Nowak, who was lying on his side, telling officers he had been stabbed and that he could not breathe. The officer told Mr Nowak that he was under arrest for suspicion of assault. Mr Nowak repeated that he had been stabbed. A male voice said: “I don’t think you have, mate.” The video cuts out when CPR starts, and in its place, a transcript was read by Neil King, prosecuting, and the officer in the case. One officer said: "He is not unconscious, mate, he isn't breathing." Mr Nowak was pronounced dead at 12.37am despite the efforts of police, paramedics and a doctor who was flown to the scene by helicopter. The video ended when CPR began, with a transcript read to the court instead. Mr Nowak was later pronounced dead at 12:37am despite efforts from police, paramedics and an airlifted doctor. Vickrum Singh Digwa, 23, of St Denys Road, Southampton denies the charge of murder. Source: Daily Echo..... x.com/sotontimes/sta…

@BBCWorld Any decent father would slit his own wrists before he sold his baby daughter for rape so he could buy himself food. These men are cowards and demons, not victims. They’re the reason why Afghanistan is a shithole and will always be a shithole.

I appreciate that many people will understandably be frightened by what they are seeing at the Unite the Kingdom demonstration today. The right to protest is fundamental. But it can’t be a cover for inciting hatred. We must stand against attempts to inflame and divide us.

Modern-day Europeans have been in Europe more than an order of magnitude longer than the Maori have been in New Zealand. Hell, Oxford University is older than the Maori residence in NZ. Yet somehow Europeans are not indigenous to Europe, while the Maori are indigenous to NZ.

The Biden administration was basically giving free houses to Indians. THEY. WERE. GIVING. FREE. HOUSES. TO. INDIANS. Trump cut the cord. The sudden wave of homes for sale in the Dallas area is likely Indians who suddenly found themselves underwater on their mortgages.
Robert Sterling@RobertMSterling

During the Biden administration, H-1B visa holders were buying houses with 97-100% financing. 97% would come from the FHA, with the rest coming from state first-time home buyer programs. Zero money down. Thanks to programs that were supposed to be helping low-income American families buy their own homes. FHA loans to non-permanent residents quickly grew to represent 6% of mortgage issuances. The percentage was undoubtedly higher in places like the DFW area, where H-1B visa holders are disproportionately concentrated. I don’t have anything against people in America on H-1B visas. I’ve said it before—and I’ll say it again—that I’ve found many of them to be great people on an individual level, and I wish them all nothing but the best. Individual immigrants—especially those here legally—are not at fault for flawed US immigration policy. But this might be the most radicalizing thing I’ve ever seen. Not only are American workers forced to compete for jobs, they’re also forced to compete in the housing market against people bringing 0-3% of a house’s cost to the closing table, versus the 10-20% most people have to pay. First, companies import mass numbers of H-1B visa holders, largely in "back office" white-collar fields like IT and accounting. This essentially imposes a lower ceiling on domestic wages in these job categories. Next, these workers—who are generally concentrated in certain geographic areas—create more demand for housing (especially in good school districts), driving up home prices and the cost of living. Then, to top it off, they don’t even have to save up money for a down payment. They can close on a $500k house with $0-15k plus a 97% FHA loan. Meanwhile, ordinary American families are forced to come to with $50-100k for the same down payment. I don’t care how you feel about Trump or what your preferred immigration policies are; there’s no defending this. It screws over hard-working American citizens several different ways over, and it’s yet another reason why I will always be glad Trump won and Kamala Harris lost in 2024.

when my forefathers were fighting and bleeding for this country for their descendants to have a future they didn’t envision me having to pass 10 beanslop mexican restaurants and a halal super market with arabic writing plastered on a billboard for it. They didn’t envision me having to hear blacks blast coontunes in public areas or hear them talk on speaker phone about the most ignorant thing possible. They didn’t envision me having to smell the stench of street shitting curry eater who wobbles their head when they talk either. None of these foreign freaks have any ties to America and never will. By blood and soil, this country is my ancestral birth right with family history stretching back before 1776 when official records began. So no, you cannot stay and you will never belong here.

“wHy aRe tHerE iNdiaNs In pOrTuGaL?!” Because they are good slaves, you are not. I hate essay-posting but allow me a rare indulgence: To understand what is happening now, you need understand that this isn’t the first time it’s happened. Why are there Indians in Kenya? Suriname? Fiji? Burma? Because Indians have always been the preferred servile class of elites. The evidence for this goes back hundreds of years. I’ve spoken about British colonial Burma before, and it is a great example of what this looks like. Even after extensive efforts to bring them to heel, the majority of the Burmese ethnic groups were far too resistant to submit to the British empire to be reliable labor. They refused to abandon their culture and ways of life to be slave drones for British pocketbooks. So the Brits started importing Indians to be their colonial administrators, preferring them as labor because they were easier to control and satisfy. By the 1940s, Indians made up almost 20% of the population of the entire country. Another great historical example of this is Suriname - a small country in South America that had been under Dutch colonial rule for 300 years. The Dutch abolished slavery in 1863, forcing colonial plantation owners to have to hire labor to do the work they had previously been using slaves for. But… they didn’t want to pay former slaves or Indigenous locals a living wage for the work. So what did the Dutch elites do instead? Import Indians. Today, Indians still make up 27% of the population. 27%. Of a tiny, obscure South American country. We could basically go through the list of every country with a non-negligible Indian population and the theme would be consistent: They were brought there by elites who needed a submissive, easily exploitable labor pool when local labor asked for better living conditions or wages. Why? Because Indians never did. They are a population that seems fully content with subjugation (even Marx noticed this). So it’s easy to see why they were such an ideal population for the intensive global expansion era of colonial empires. And it’s even easier to see why they are perfect subjects for late capitalism now. They are the culturally, psychologically, and physically ideal organism for the dominant system. There’s 1.4 billion of them. They are deeply socially stratified and so expect and even enjoy inequality. Their cuisine is cheap, meat-free slop. They live amongst trash and filth with no qualms. They don’t care about the environment. Their reaction to death and abuse is blank-eyed indifference. They are physically and spiritually malleable. They not only adopt and internalize the demands of the dominant system as personal ambition, they believe this servitude makes them better than everyone else who hasn’t. Absolutely IDEAL subjects. You, on the other hand, are not the ideal subject. You want to live in a high-trust society. You would shed tears if someone tried to cut down the apple tree you climbed as a child to build a data center. You want to see and experience beauty. You want your own space. You have an expectation that your living conditions will improve over time. You would not be content to live in a room with 10 other people, work 16 hours per day for pennies, and eat cheap slop. You are a liability. Just like the Burmese and Surinamese slaves were. And as we continue to crawl deeper into this late capitalist hellscape, you and your silly little needs will come into increasing conflict with those of the system. Thus, you WILL be replaced by people far easier to control and far less concerned about their own welfare or the welfare of everyone and everything around them. … Unless you do something about it. But the system has already locked-in that you won’t, and that you’ll just sort of fade into nothingness, distracted by meaningless comforts and terrified of the uncertainty of change. So “why are Indians in [wherever]?” Because you are about to not be.

This is completely mad. Britain has no history of polygamy. It's been illegal to enter into a polygamous marriage in England since 1604. When people come to this country, they should abide by our norms. Allowing them not to and then giving them taxpayer money for it is mental.

@rupertaesthete @El_Capitan_Cook @Sori37660347 Deanobox estate, complete with Miller & Carter. Not where I’d live, but a lot better than anything built in the past 70 years. They’re aping much nicer homes from yesteryear, usually built on much bigger plots. The nicest thing about older homes is the location or plot, or both.
