@mialoira Do managers are already born leading people? We need to hire people not asking how many direct reports they had in the past, instead give the chance to someone who really cares about people’s life. Short answer yes.
@Jamie1Thomas loving the videos. Do you think purpose exists in isolation? thinking if the social context becomes the origin & the result, or if there are different level and kind of purposes. Do you think we can find purpose through meditation or just setting the stage to identify it/them?
@Jamie1Thomas True thing. I see this anxiety can be self-detection or levering technology for doing that. I have explored emotion detection for example through voice, linguistics, and also detecting patterns on face and gestures.
@luiscolinm Thank you Luis. In addition to having an environment that is safe and encouraging, the personal mission could be about noticing anxiety that results from a negative internal narrative (of course this often exists alongside the external factors you describe).
I don't believe in unicorns. We have to stop thinking creatives need to know everything. It only helps companies by reducing cost and headcount while hurting people by producing unrealistic expectations and job descriptions that cause more imposter syndrome than anything else

This person will be responsible for strategic experience design initiatives, data experience Design initiatives including IKEA’s customer data promise, experience design and UX Research, and emerging tech design initiatives 1/2
At IKEA, we are pretty much building the design team from scratch. Starting with hiring for 4 Head of UX Design. These roles will be based in either Malmo or Amsterdam. If you know anyone who may be interested, send them my way.. please!😅

@laraisuncool Respected me the way I am and he didn’t want to change me but embrace me. Gave me space to think boldly. Supported me when some others bullied me, gave me the words to find courage to keep moving and keeps heads up. Showed me true leadership and how to be true to your values.
