Divergent is proud to mark a major advancement in aerospace manufacturing with the successful flight of an additively manufactured, mission-critical gearbox housing on Korea Aerospace Industries’ KF-21 Boramae. The flight-safety component underwent rigorous testing from material specimens through full gearbox assemblies, exceeding traditional cast-part standards and demonstrating that additive manufacturing can meet the demands of high-performance, manned fighter platforms. Achievements like the KF-21 test flight demonstrate how Divergent continues to support the broader shift toward faster, more resilient, and modern aerospace production.

Divergent is proud to announce that it has been awarded a position on the Missile Defense Agency’s Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) IDIQ. The goal of the $151B-ceiling SHIELD IDIQ is to rapidly field, scale, and sustain advanced capabilities in support of America’s Golden Dome missile defense initiative. Divergent welcomes the opportunity to partner with the Department of War and innovators across the industrial base to deliver next-generation manufacturing capabilities that enable faster development, qualification, and fielding of critical missile defense technologies.
