Precisely this. Another social football culture war created over nothing. The ultimate storm in a teacup. Problem is that there as nothing in the game to talk about which is why it’s so highlighted.

All the fake Martinelli outrage is such rubbish. One of the only people who had every right to be very angry with what happened was Arne Slot, yet he's one of the few to speak really sensibly about the whole thing. Martinelli was stupid, he assessed the situation in completely the wrong way. He wasn't looking when the injury happened and he jumped to the wrong conclusion in the heat of the moment. It was a big mistake and he's quite rightly apologised to Bradley and publicly. But some of the stuff I've seen and heard today, my word. Just so over the top.

@aadamp9 Different game with Salah, Isak and Ekitike. Liverpool flooded the midfield and made it difficult for us to play. More open game with those outlets up top and more space for Arsenal as well as Liverpool.

Some poor draws for Liverpool in recent weeks but that was a good draw. Arne Slot will be happy with that. Plenty of courage and you'd imagine that if they had an outlet up top, they could have easily won it #LFC

Poor game, lack of quality, passive performance. The positive is that we got a point, but that was a real let down of a game. Martinelli should be ashamed at the end, that’s not in keeping with the club. Dust ourselves off, onto Forest.

@MrAzSports The worst owner in the NFL. Bloody WiFi. No one cares if you have the shoddiest facilities. If your team wins games of football and plays meaningful games in January, they will come. Try putting your hands in your pockets for a world class HC and QB and then chat about the WiFi.

Really bought into him at the beginning but by the end I couldn’t stand listening to him. Unfortunately he was a dead man walking. We need a top tier QB and much better offence. Defence will be fine regardless.

The one player I think of when I read this is Kevin De Bruyne. He was the master of trying a ball or cross that no one else would try and it almost always ended up with a big chance/goal. Football gods reward those who take risks.

We have a real aversion to just trying stuff. There have been so many balls kinda on where hey it might get to the guy and the consequences of missing the pass aren’t that bad, and our players just never play the ball.
