Macclesfield FC can confirm that D'Mani Mellor has completed his transfer to Forest Green Rovers for an undisclosed fee. Whilst thanking D'Mani for all of his efforts during his time with us, we must place on record our understandable disappointment at the timing of the move. As a Club we did everything we could to keep D'Mani, but due to the fact that the terms of his release clause were met and the player also expressed his wish to leave, we could not prevent him from becoming the fifth Macclesfield FC player to leave for The New Lawn since last summer. Everyone at Macclesfield FC is committed to achieving our fourth promotion in five years, and we would like to reassure supporters that the Club's contingency plans will now be executed.
