Wanna Lead PE - Contributor Focus! Our next focus is on the brilliant Amy Kovic - Director of Sport at Winston Churchill School, Woking. Having seen first hand the culture, vision and drive that Amy delivers at WCS, I am delighted that Amy agreed to be involved in this project! Amy reflects upon a chapter entitled 'Girl Power' - looking at the challenges and barriers linked to girl's participation in PE & Sport. I love this particular reflection: 'As PE leaders, this is by no means an easy challenge or a quick win, but it is our responsibility is to ensure that every girl leaves school believing that physical activity is for her, both now and for life'. Next up for the Wanna Lead PE Contributor Focus series is the brilliant Phil Mathe AKA @SimplySportSci currently smashing it at the British International School in Riyadh, KSA. Phil's chapter reflection around the importance of legacy in leadership is powerful and crammed with thought provoking golden nuggets. Definitely a chapter to read when morale and motivation might be low! Delighted that Phil agreed to support this project having worked with him many times across the PE space/world in recent years.

Luke's chapter reflection focuses around understanding context, a crucial element of Luke's leadership approach every single day. In Wanna Lead PE, I was very keen to include as broad a scope of contributors as possible and I am delighted Luke agreed to be involved.

Had the pleasure of collaborating and working with Rachel over the last few years and I was delighted when she agreed to contribute her thoughts, experience and passion on the chapter entitled 'Financially Frugal'. Rachel shares the importance of managing resources, facilities, equipment and budgets to maximise the experiences of her young people in PE.
