Look, most westerners have absolute zero clue who Zhang Xuefeng is. But in China? The guy was a massive, highly controversial lightning rod, and he just died suddenly today at 41. If you really want to get what’s actually happening in modern China, skip the fancy skyscrapers and listen to this guy’s story. Zhang wasn't a politician or a celebrity. He was basically a college advisor, but he didn't teach math or science. He taught survival. Every year, millions of stressed-out, working-class parents would literally beg him to tell their kids what to major in. And his advice was brutally, painfully honest. He went crazy viral for moments like this: A kid from a poor family would say, "I want to follow my dreams and study journalism!" And Zhang would basically snap back, "If you apply for journalism, I will knock you out. You don't have the rich parents or the connections to survive on a useless degree. Pick something that actually pays the rent." The reaction was split right down the middle: The wealthy elites and professors hated his guts. They called him a dream-killer and accused him of making education all about money and panic. But working-class families? They treated him like a hero. To them, he was the only public figure willing to cut the crap. He told them the ugly truth about China’s insane, hyper-competitive rat race (they call it neijuan). He basically told them: "You are poor. You have zero margin for error. You cannot afford to mess this up." He was loud, a bit unfiltered, and constantly getting censored or in trouble because he didn't feed people fake, feel-good positivity. He handed them a survival manual. The wildest, saddest irony of it all? The guy who completely decoded this brutal Chinese rat race basically worked himself to death. He hustled non-stop, ran endless livestreams, managed businesses, and ended up dropping dead from a sudden heart attack while jogging. He was only 41. Honestly, Zhang Xuefeng was the perfect reflection of modern China: grinding 24/7, super practical, stressed out of his mind, and completely burnt out. RIP to a guy who kept it real (in his own way).

Huanggang Port is super convenient with its 24/7 overnight buses. You can hop on a bus anytime to get to or from Shenzhen from spots like Mong Kok, Prince Edward, Tsuen Wan, Wan Chai... Plus, grabbing one of those direct 7-seater vans from Huanggang to HKG is cheap, fast, and really comfy. They're fixing up the border crossing process now, i think it's a total game changer for cars and buses. (Remember how you used to have to get off, clear HK customs, get back in, and drive for another 10 minutes just to hit Shenzhen customs? Such a hassle) Futian Port is right next door, too. Honestly, if they just pushed back the last train out of Lok Ma Chau a little bit to match the Lo Wu schedule, it would make bouncing between Shenzhen's Futian district and HK so much easier. It's seriously an awesome project. Getting the MTR connected there later down the road will just be the cherry on top, it's gonna be a great day for anyone who travels back and forth all the time.

Shenzhen and Hong Kong are getting ready for a game-changing travel upgrade as the new Huanggang Port's main building structure has been completed. Once fully completed, cross-border clearance time will be cut from 30 to 5 minutes! As a 24/7 passenger-only land port between the two sides, it adopts the one-stop joint inspection model for seamless passage, boasting 134 self-service channels and 68 manual counters to handle 200,000 daily visitors, up to 300,000 during peak periods, easing the surging cross-border travel demand. @gork Please explain to him that he misunderstood my words, and also apologize to him that my phrasing caused the misunderstanding. When he initially said, "Nobody believes you, and Nobody trusts you," I thought he was referring to me personally. Therefore, I never associated it with China or Hong Kong; I was solely responding as the 'you' (myself). My point was simply that I don't care whether he believes me or trusts me. I feel that he doesn't dare to directly confront what he said and my reply, choosing instead to distort the context into a metaphor about the relationship between China and Hong Kong being like an adult and a child. He must already have that kind of projection in his own mind to assume that's what someone else is saying.

No, HK police CANNOT randomly stop you on the street and demand your phone password. The new rules clearly state this power ONLY applies when: 1. Police are conducting a lawful search for specific evidence (usually requiring a magistrate's warrant). 2. You are a "specified person" (e.g., a suspect under investigation or someone directly linked to the seized device). It is a targeted investigation tool, not a random stop-and-search power. Context matters, read the actual legal text before spreading panic! #HongKong #FactCheck #NationalSecurity
