@sharonodea Vegetable peeler. The fancy ones don't work! Price of a potato peeler is inversely related to it's effectiveness

What's an example of a thing we ALL buy or use because it's useful regardless of how unfashionable and/or ugly it may be? Yes it's for a likely over-laboured point I'm making in a talk.

@Wedge It's good. But Instagram wedge is better. You should follow him, high brow literature / 80s kids cartoon gags. Genius.

A woman came up to me and said “I’d like to poison your mind with wrong ideas that appeal to you though I am not unkind”. That’s marketing. A man came up to me and said “I’d like to change your mind by hitting it with a rock” he said “Though I am not unkind”. And that’s comms.

@Wedge And "dunno yeah" was also my thought.. surely (reasonable) people want to know if they're using non-inclusive language.

@lukemepham PowerPoint settings are quite different on Mac, so I can’t yet find inclusivity spellcheck! In Word and Outlook, I’ve turned inclusivity checking on for all future docs and mails. My opinion for MS default? Dunno. Yeah?

Windows users can find ‘Inclusivity’ settings within Word Editor. Ticking means spellcheck will consider age and gender bias, etc. Mac users have to hunt for them, here:

Anyone willing to send me screenshots of intranet homepages built on SharePoint? I want to show a client what can be achieved. #InternalComms

I'd do anything for work... but I won't do THAT. In honour of Meatloaf, what are the weirdest tasks you've done in the course of your job? And one thing you've point-blank refused to do?

Which icon do you prefer? Which is more aesthetically pleasing to thine eye? I know you want to ask "What's it for" but I'm not asking for a 'best-fit design', I'm asking which is pleasing to you. Deadline is Monday 7pm BST. Thank you!!
