Bike lanes sound great until you realize that the urbanists behind it are aspirational anti-car ideologues who want to eliminate all car lanes out of spite. They come up with silly derogatory names like “car brain” without questioning why one might need a car and dehumanize drivers as if a cyclist is somehow contributing more to society when the reality is that the ones who use it the most are deliveristas for a very small handful of private corporations that have monopolized the industry.

45% of households own cars, which is 20% of people. Bike lanes are 1.3% of the travel lanes in NYC, the other 98.7% are car lanes.

@motorisms one of the cool things about science is that its core principle of ~reproducibility~ mitigates the risk of fraudulent studies. i have yet to see independent corroboration of any the claims made by the study you funded
