@joserosado That is always the trickiest part for me. I understand the basics of copywriting, and I understand how to write fiction. But I'm terrible at combining real-life stories with a sales copy. What are some great resources for learning this?

Add stories in your copy. Take your customers on a journey. Show them what life looks like now: Fear, doubt, and insecurity. And what it could be like after success: Excitement, optimism, confidence.

@upen946 Hey! Just found your newsletter on IH, considering pro subscription. To help me decide, can you share any success stories? Are there any founders who took an idea from your newsletter, used it to build a Micro SaaS, and made money with it?

One thing that lacks in courses are illustrations and interactive demos. We're working on new ones for Learn to Code From Zero With Godot. This one's by @lumenwrites, for the physics nodes cheatsheet. Get the course: gdquest.mavenseed.com/courses/learn-…

We're working on a new platform for @godotengine courses. @lumenwrites is leading the project and we hope to make it open-source. This is an early prototype, we're only laying the foundations. Expect the first release at the end of the summer.

@NathanGDQuest @godotengine @lumenwrites Dark mode should be prioritized for the health of our precious vampiric eyes. please? 👀 It's said that rapidly switching between dark themed Godot and dazzling bright browser reduces life expectancy.

Design your writing. Instead of trying to invent your articles from scratch, think of it as a design process: · Rsearch and collect great ideas · Curate and distill the best ones · Assemble them into an outline · Convey them briefly and clearly #ship30for30 #WritingCommunity

@LaunchwithMax Hey, Max! Just discovered your profile via Brett Williams from DesignJoy. Looks like we're into similar kinds of things. I also love tabletop games, and I'm also trying to launch a productized service agency (using webflow). Do you mind sharing your website?

Can't believe over 500 of you showed interest in my course! 😍 I started outlining the topics today. I'll share every detail I've learned in the last 5 years running Designjoy. I haven't been so excited about something in a long time. Stay tuned!

@stewfortier Specificity, explaining complicated things simply, and writing in an approachable conversational are keys for engaging writing. PG and Scott Alexander are masters of this.

Most of us are terrified of sounding dumb, so we use overly-abstract language. Ironically, this both makes us dumber and is less interesting to read. Boring: "Your product should offer a proper solution to an important market need." Interesting: "Make stuff people want."

@joserosado Hey, Jose! I'm Mike. I'm starting a webdev agency aimed at helping non-technical founders and content creators to build and launch their websites and SaaS apps. If I joined your community, do you think it'd be a good place for me to offer my services?

Solve the biggest problem you're facing right now. · If you want to be a writer, but aren't writing every day - solve that. · If you want to make money selling digital products, and don't have a product yet - solve that. Everything else can wait. #ship30for30 #tweet100 #writing

@lumenwrites thank you! I wrote it, but its hidden somewhere, let me try to find it. I don't market them since my strategy is "write to market". I just rely on organic amazon searches. i don't do any other thing. I do have some auto-ads on amazon, but they account for a v small % of sales

@greglim81 Amazing thread! Did you end up writing part 2? My question is - how do you market those books? Do you just rely on amazon sending you traffic? From search? Or do you do something specific to put your books in front of people?

2. Solve a Micro-Problem you know (Niching down) I didn’t set out to create the ultimate guide on a particular subject. I instead found a market with many problems and wrote a book for one specific problem. For example:
