@RedTeamReview I think the point of this is that Maekar gave him the ring and permission to go with Dunk. The "Where TF is Egg" moment is to mislead people from knowing he sent him to who knows where with a random hedge knight.

I didn’t like the change at first bcz it flattens maekar’s growth where he admit fault, recognize dunk’s worth, & trust his son. not to mention it also implies that egg didn’t learn about responsibility & consequence
