(1) not every British accent is non-rhotic. Scots English is rhotic.
(2) non-rhotic speakers do pronounce Rs: "harm" is still distinct from "ham"; "red" is not pronounced "ed".
non-rhoticity means R before a consonant is taken as the "long" vowel rather than a literal R sound

I’m really in love with the fact that, because British people don’t pronounce Rs, they think you added an R when you say a letter normally. To them, every word I say is filled with an incomprehensible number of Rs

You use the wrong 'a'. You say 'pasta' with the first a pronounced like the word 'apple', which is wrong.
