@djdotmp4 I'll break mine into tiers
Tier 1:
Mara
Morez
Tier 2:
Lopez
Steinbach
Okorie
Quaintance
Yax
Tier 3
Swain
Stirtz
Carr
Cenac
Tier 4
Ament
Koa
This is definitely still changing and adjusting but this is where I'm at rn. I hope we use both picks unless you can get 1 of Mara/Morez

@British_Buzz Hopefully the hornets was the one who gave him a promise
English

@Kembacrossover Fs, but imo it doesn't stop him from being a far more impactful player in his rookie yr than a lot of ppl give him credit for. His usg this szn was at 19% and he still gave NZB some really great games. FWIW I think i will rather him off ball than a guy like dailyn swain.
English

@lupittool0 He’ll definitely need the right team to develop him correctly for him to hit his ceiling. My worry is most teams don’t have the ability to do so anymore and he’ll be relegated to an off ball role that limits him ultimately since a lot of his potential is on ball.
English

@Kembacrossover I still believe in it and honestly i can convince myself on it. The eval is a lot of eye test because of the difference in comp and the spreadsheets being a little iffy bc its international league. Though I'm still confident about him
English

@Kembacrossover While I don't agree with not having any projectable skills, imo he projects more as a 4 rather than a 3 and the physicality driving to the rim is there, I also buy in with the on-ball reps that includes playmaking. I'm less concerned with his in game speed bc if he can learn how-
English

@Kembacrossover To use his 6'9-10 length he should be able to get to the rim with added strength. The defense is good for me too generates stks and aside from mistakes that a 18 y/o usually makes his length makes up for it. Oreb is underrated aswell. The shot is actually my main concern but-

@WfromDeBall It's interesting though i wanna see how teams react to this type of lottery. It's pretty funny tho, the timing couldn't be any more perfect for the nba to implement the "anti-tanking" with 2027 draft class knowing it's regarded as pretty weak.
English

I don’t trust anyone who likes this
NBACentral@TheDunkCentral
Here’s how the new lottery odds will look: (h/t @LevAkabas )
English

@NataTheScribe Maybe, but his skillset and playstyle isn't similar to Jalen Johnson. It is also hard to see him having the role of a JJ because of the lack of athleticism, strength, handle, and playmaking. The thing I like is that he did improve some in the course of the season.
English

@Soawakenultra @roddystr Yes, but I wouldn't mind picking him with our first pick. Nonetheles, we should be targeting JQ, Swain, Yax, and Morez with our picks in any order. A combination of getting 2 of the prospects here would be good imo.
English

@lupittool0 @roddystr You think he’ll still be available with that suns pick
English

@iohandles Still think we need to hit on this upcoming draft to feel good about being a "perennial playoff team".
English

This is the squad man. All we really need is internal dev from Tidjane, Brandon, Kalk, Sion to be a perennial playoff team.
Brett Usher@UsherNBA
LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, and Kon Knueppel have shared the court for 340 possessions this season, per Cleaning the Glass Those lineups have a 130.3 offensive rating and a +14.1 net
English

@truzzbuzz It's the scouts job to watch prospects, just because they attended his game doesn't necessarily mean he is a top target.
English

Go ahead and start looking for some 6’3 7th graders because idk when we’ll ever be good

Representatives from multiple NBA teams, including the Charlotte Hornets, attended today's New Zealand Breakers game in Australia to scout projected lottery pick Karim Lopez, per @OlgunUluc. He is currently ranked 11th on ESPN's 2026 NBA draft big board. x.com/nbadraftpoint/…
English

@freewave3 @HornetsRuinedMe I'm confused, you can't see bmill being an AS or are you saying he not better than Kon?
English

@HornetsRuinedMe Going nowhere is too much bc as of rn I can’t Brandon’s better than Kon
English

@British_Buzz I agree to a degree but I believe to reach the best ceiling/outcome, Brandon Miller needs to be a star which I think he will be
English

I listened to Lowe’s latest podcast. I disagree that the Hornets are going “Nowhere” in the next five years if Brandon Miller isn’t an All-Star.
There are outs: LaMelo leap, Knueppel popping, the ‘25 draft, MIA/DAL picks, multi-pick trade package. Miller should carry the biggest expectation, but not the whole rebuild.
Charlotte have afforded themselves flex with the moves they have made to diversify their paths to contention.
English

@HornetsHivemind @Daltonst23 @AllAboutHornets I guess take it as you will lol. I will never change your mind and thats fine. Have a great rest of the day and hopefully we'll see the hornets be good!
English

Sexton and a second round pick for Nurk is a fumble?
HiveMind@HornetsHivemind
Jeff fumbled the best offseason the hornets have had in a LONG time
English

@HornetsHivemind @Daltonst23 @AllAboutHornets Maybe, maybe not, but what I do know is that there is a process for good things not only in the nba but in all things.
English

@HornetsHivemind @Daltonst23 @AllAboutHornets Love that for you, but you cant just buy winning in todays nba you have to be smart about it.
English

@lupittool0 @Daltonst23 @AllAboutHornets You must not know me lol. You’ll never see me praise a blowout loss in the playin. You also will never see me praise tanking, having 0 starting centers and doing nothing to get 1
