FPS is such a played out genre at this point. It's been obvious for about a decade now it's all about money. Zero passion, corpos just siphoning infinite money. Everyone copying everyone, slight differences between franchises. Feels like every new FPS that drops has 2 weeks in the sun then it drops off a cliff. Going to take a team with massive funding, a unique and fresh idea, and the understanding that people just want what they had before in the 2000's and early 2010's, aka a miracle. None of this SBMM/EOMM, OP AA, evil monetization stuff, real gameplay depth and replayability, and a solid and consistent content release cycle. The only high quality shooter that is really doing something new-ish imo is Deadlock rn.

Played BF6 after a long break: -Grenade launchers are still used like shotguns, -Netcode is still bad, -Controller desync, -visibility is still ASS, -random recoil feels like shit, The defenders of this game are too bad at videogames to even notice these things so yeah its peak!

The new vehicle meta in BF6 is probably the most diabolical farm i’ve ever seen in a Battlefield game. A near perfect storm, arguably better than OG Manhattan Bridge. Expect many complaints about it in the next few days 🌚
