Most supplements, in my view, are useless. That's not a controversial take. But I argue here that the *pursuit* of supplements and other hacks directly undermines our quest for better performance and health in several ways. Everything has a cost.

Great new publication by our team (@HANsportnutr) in @MSSEonline. This study assessed daily energy expenditure (doubly labeled water), resting metabolic rate (ventilated hood), energy intake (24 h-dietary recalls) and body composition (DXA) in a cohort of Paralympic athletes.
