@bhx_official @birdyavgeekgirl I was at the airport this morning and I can confirm it is an absolute shambles. Security was taking so long due to the new machines that there was a free for all and everyone was being called through fast track to try and avoid missing their flights. Took 90 mins to get through.

@trevor_grinzel I don’t disagree with what you are saying, but always wondered why this doesn’t apply. If your feet are 50cm from the ball, why don’t you align them to a target 50cm left of your target?

@GolfDigest Top 12 Money list, or individual money list? Bryson would have players get into majors because their teammates play well? Uihlein would get in and his world ranking was 377 at the end of 2022. This argument is a joke.

Bryson DeChambeau says the Top 12 on LIV Golf's money list should qualify for major championships. Do you agree?

Winning the first match isn’t even enough for the US. They needed to get out to an early lead for any kind of hope of any momentum swing. JT/Spieth hand the opening hole to them with bogey. Not good.

@PepperellEddie @Chrisdunngolfer @KP24 I was on 18th, Friday. In 40 mins we only saw 2 groups. Both had a player block it right. Hit provis’, but then found their first ball. Unplayable, so had to return to the tee, after pissing about for 10 mins. If the right side was red or white stake it would speed things up!

What’s the solution for the 5h30 rounds played by the professionals in a 3 ball yesterday at Wentworth?

@jamiecweir @8pbnfb96yp I played it a few weeks ago - they really need to grow the rough incase there is no wind! I heard that they are praying for rain to help the rough grow?!

So, this new “proposal” on rolling back the ball to curb distance is a shot at how athletic the players have become over the last 20 years. @chambleebrandel stated yesterday and I agree with him. Scoring avg in 2002 was 71.411 and in 2022 was 71.092 - a difference of .04% better… Hardly a reason to roll the ball back. The new standard is proposed that a 127mph club head speed will generate the same 317 yard result as a 120mph club speed does today. There is not one player on the list above that averages 127. Brandel also said this new proposal “is criticizing the increased athleticism of the last 20 years” I agree with this statement 100%. Not sure why the USGA AND R&A want to smolder a skill that people love to watch and admire. The first sub 10 second 100M dash was in 1968 and if you run a 10 second 100M today you will probably finish last in a race at the Olympics. Should the Olympic committee propose sprinters wear heavy shoes to curb speed to preserve the “integrity” of the history of the sport? At the end of the day, Golfers and athletes are bigger, stronger, faster and better athletes now than they were 25,35 and 50 years ago due to understanding biomechanics, training and launch conditions. From my experience, I have studied human performance and continue to do a deep dive with some very intelligent people and want to push the limits of human performance. IMO, Brandel hit the nail on the head with this one. At the end of the day, if a player wants to let it loose, he has such a small margin for error. A 360 yard drive hit a little right of target on the same line as a 280 yard drive could mean a ball hit out of bounds. It’s difficult to hit the ball long and straight which is a masterful skill. This proposal will take some excitement out of the game for sure. I don’t like it. It will really hit the slower players hard and the faster players will just train harder and swing faster. You don’t need a 7,800 yard golf course for it to be tough. Merion GC in PA is my favorite course and it is sub 7,000 yards. You have to be so precise that a mistake will cost you a bogey, double or worse. Narrow fairways and 3.5 inch rough is brutal. 👊🏼

@tylerfarnworth @B_of_H @TheGolfDivoTee this is the opposite of how it works. Vaseline on driver reduces spin and can lead to straighter shots. You wouldn’t want to take the spin off a wedge lmao
