One of the highlights of my year was this gift of one of Muriel Spark’s actual James Thin notebooks which now sits on my desk emanating its awesome power.

@Helen_Fields I got one star for a book because they'd bought the Kindle version and didn't have a Kindle. They put the last bit in capitals to make sure I really understood what I'd done to them 🤷

This person here is everything that is wrong with Amazon reviews. This 1 star review, that goes on the product's history and reduces its overall rating, gets 1 star because the moron who left the review admits ordering the wrong product, then goes on to say that they therefore "cannot review them"...and yet you did, stupid person, you still did.

@TheRozweiler @jennyeclair Yes, I could but no real desire to. I think what appeals to a lot of ghosts is working on such different projects - you never know what's going to come in next and most of them aren't celebs.

Please can 2025 be the year that people who ‘write’ novels but actually don’t, are publicly named and shamed. I’m sick of the rumours - and the disgusting deceit if the rumours are true.

#SexTrafficking #Suicide Below is a picture of me at around age 4. I was not a normal child. I was born into the world of sex-trafficking. It involved cruel torture. Monday thru Friday I went to school like every other kid. Except I went to school and threw up because I was being raped on the weekends. 🔥 Here’s what I want you to know…. There were two times in my life when I was suicidal. Neither were during the rape, torture and trafficking. • In my 20’s, I was sexually assaulted by a person in a position of trust. During the court trials, thanks to disgusting defense attorneys, I became suicidal, and I tried to kill myself a number of times. • In my early 50’s, I was betrayed and exploited by an anti-trafficking nonprofit. Again, a person of trust. The woman involved was so cruel that this was my second suicidal chapter. I’m shocked that I survived. My suicide plans were detailed and serious. The pain was too much. So, how does someone survive child-rape-trafficking, BUT when re-exploited as an adult by people in a position of trust…. Suicide? Hopelessness. When trust in people who claim to “help” is destroyed, hopelessness ensues. THIS is why I care so much about establishing ethics, oversight, and standards of care in the anti-trafficking process. It’s not complicated. 💔 Destroying hope in the healing process can mean death. I have heard from many survivors in many states. Anti-trafficking nonprofits cannot continue to make up the rules as they go along. • They are not required to follow HIPPA Privacy. And they don’t. • They are not required to use Licensed or qualified counselors for their clients. • They force you to sign “No liability” contracts as a condition of getting help…. meaning, YOU sign away your rights to protect them for their bad behavior. I could go on and on…. 🕊️ Please join me in my fight for reforms and ethics in the after-care process. Survivors of rape, torture, and trafficking deserve a life. It’s time for ethics in the healing process. Human beings matter. Ethics matter. Thank you. 🕊️
