🚨 The journalist: “What do you think about Lamine Yamal’s actions yesterday during FC Barcelona’s league title celebrations, and should a player avoid interfering in matters unrelated to football?” Pep Guardiola: “And should you also avoid interfering in things that are not your specialty? You are here to ask me about tomorrow’s match against Crystal Palace F.C.. Despite that, I will answer your question..... A football player is a role model followed by millions, and his opinion is influential, so he should express his opinion when necessary. What would you do if you found your wife and children under the rubble of homes like them there? Would you come here to the press conference to talk about a player wearing a shirt and running after a ball?? Of course not!! You do not choose the topics we want to talk about, so those are things outside your specialty. Lamine’s stance is something he should be proud of — he has now become the talk of the world.”

If anyone on the left talked about Jews and Israel the way Melanie Phillips talks about Palestinians and Palestine, they would be investigated by the police for hate speech and would never see the inside of a television or radio studio ever again.

Starmer was a member of Trilateral Commission whose first report in the early 1970s claimed the the degradation of the West came from giving us too democracy. He doesn't serve us.

Barack Obama’s administration intervened and forced Haiti’s government to kill a plan to raise the minimum wage. The minimum wage was kept at approximately a mere $0.31 an hour. A fact not known by many about the Butcher of Libya.

former senior CIA agent John Stockwell: "We pumped dozens of stories about Cuban atrocities, rapists. We ran fake photographs that made every paper in the country. It was pure raw false propaganda to create the illusion of Communists eating babies for breakfast." Sound familiar?

Afraid Casemiro failed the audition to sell United We Stand today (and he’s otherwise occupied). So we went a little further south to get this lad, who is back at Old Trafford for the first time in 22 years.

During the Nuremberg Trials, Hermann Göring gave an interview to psychologist Gustave Gilbert and said: “Of course the people don’t want war. Why would some poor farmer want to risk his life in a war when the best he can hope for is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally, people don’t want war. No one wants war in Russia, England, America — not even in Germany. That’s obvious. But in the end, it’s the leaders of a country who determine policy. And it’s always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it’s a democracy, a communist state, a parliament, or a fascist dictatorship.” Gilbert objected: “But there is one difference in a democracy — the people have a voice through their elected representatives.” To which Göring replied: “That’s all well and good, but whether the people have a voice or not, they can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and for exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nuremberg Diary, April 18, 1946 Doesn’t it sound familiar?

Reminder that the police being a blatantly political paramilitary force in Britain is NOT a new thing👇 Put the police under full democratic control of the communities they serve. Crime would tumble.

THE STRATEGY OF TENSION: “You were supposed to attack civilians, women, children, innocent people from outside the political arena." 'Declassified files expose British role in NATO’s Gladio terror armies': "The covert operation was uncovered in 1990, when the public learned that the CIA, MI6 and NATO trained and directed an underground army of fascist paramilitary units across Europe... As Vincenzo Vinciguerra, a Gladio operative jailed for life in 1984 for a car bombing in Italy that killed three police officers and injured two, explained: “You were supposed to attack civilians, women, children, innocent people from outside the political arena. The reason was simple, force the public to turn to the state and ask for greater security…People would willingly trade their freedom for the security of being able to walk the streets, go on trains or enter a bank. This was the political logic behind the bombings. They remain unpunished because the state cannot condemn itself.” It was not until 1993 that the public learned how the US and British gifted munitions to Gladio operatives to foment bloody acts of terror across Italy. As Francesco Fulci told his NATO friends at the “super-restricted” meeting, Washington and London supplied the perpetrators of mass casualty attacks including the 1980 bombing of Bologna Centrale railway station, which killed 85 people and wounded over 200. The extensive experience British intelligence obtained in Operation Gladio raises questions about the lessons the MI6 has applied to current covert operations in theaters of conflict."

I've worked with Sanders for twenty years. He tells truths the media establishment dreads. Do listen to his thoughtful but quietly powerful manifesto below. I think his new weekly news programme can transform British journalism. It starts at 6pm this Wednesday on You Tube.

Next Wednesday sees the launch of Double Down Newswatch, a new weekly magazine programme that will showcase the best of independent media. Here I explain why it's needed. youtube.com/watch?v=O8OBmd…
