Life update: I've spent the past few months of my life just building & learning. I realized I should probably share some stuff I've built because I quite like the idea of #buildinpublic Just a rough list, some discontinued; some received real active users; some receive several pilots; some didn't work out for different reasons [no longer active] - OwlShield ai (LLM Security Firewall) - Just5Minutes app (AI news, trends, and tools aggregator to help you keep up with AI in just 5 minutes) [active but im no longer working on it] - Reefo io (AI Risk Underwriting Platform to unlock AI Insurance) [pretty new and would love to get real users' feedback] - CartRecoverly (AI Voice agent to recover lost sales for abandoned carts in Shopify stores) - SecureGPT: Chrome Extension for Privacy Protection for AI Chat Platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.) Most of the things I solo-built are clearly not meant to be venture-backed solutions, but it's just fun to build things and learn the process of sales, outreach, and marketing - many of which I'm still trying my best to learn to become a great founder. thoughts on the benefits of building in public?

my email open rates went from 2-4% to 70%. great improvement!!!

Besides changing my system time on MacOS, I had to force quit every logi options+ processes on Activity Monitor before the mouse can be configured successfully hope it helps!! (P.S. shout out to these legendary redditors)

PSA - if you're on MacOS and are using a logitech mouse like MX Master 3S, the mouse not syncing is due to logitech's server issue!! fix is attached in the reply below 👇

anyone managed to use their own api key within @cursor_ai reliably? i've been having endless errors trying to connect @awscloud bedrock api key to cursor!

I WAS VIBECODING HALFWAY AND ALL MY PRODUCTION DATA WAS MISSING FROM MY FRONTEND. I GENUINELY THOUGHT I FUCKED UP UNTIL I REALIZE @supabase IS DOWN. GOD.

@lyejiajun Mmm I think I've never seen it. Why not a different domain per child company? It also allows you to have a different brand for each of them. Later you use a backlink for the parent

Has anyone ever run a website on Vercel at a subdomain (e.g. veritas.lyelabs.com) and had email like support@veritas.lyelabs.com working at the same time? Thinking A-record + MX/TXT instead of CNAME — curious if this combo works in real-world.
