In august we discharged 38 patients from our 6 beds - saving @JamesPagetNHS £133,200 and had a length of stay of just 4 days. 75% of our patients discharged straight back to their normal residences. Lets hope we can keep up the same pace throughout the winter! #WinterIsComing

🧠 The Stroke Team are putting together lots of useful information this month highlighting signs and symptoms of a stroke, treatments and stroke prevention. 🚩 Remember, if you see someone with any of these symptoms think F.A.S.T. and call 999.

From June 2021 - 2022 we successfully treated 397 patients from just our base of 6 beds! We acheived a LOS of 4 days on FAU, which is a huge improvement compared to our OPM ALOS of 13 days. (Our peaks correlate to being a covid step down unit) #acutefrailty @AcuteFrailty @GeriSoc
