Actually banksy has now confirmed it is by him so Hornsey road is now an art destination. Great!

Went to see the new banksy in Hornsey road near me. Actually I don’t think it is a banksy, not witty enough, but it certainly brought some fun, crowds of journos and jeremy Corbyn, to a particularly dull road, so thank you banksy or whoever.

@lynnbaba Sounds as if it's broken ! But everything you have bought for it will be recorded somewhere so when you buy a new one you'll have access to it all. I don't do kindle but it's true of most things of this kind,

Something horrible has happened to kindle. It keeps telling me I’m on a reading streak but refuses to sell me books! Also it has deleted my old kindle library.

So sorry to hear of death of Ann Leslie. She was an inspiring journalist but also great fun.

Very surprised that Caitlin Moran would print that Lynn Barber is a "bitch" in The Times, even if it is the interviewee's words. Barber is one of the greats. Perhaps that's why.

Highly resent the idea that because lady Susan hussey is 83 she can be excused for making racist remarks. I am 78 and don’t want to be tarred with the slur that all oldies are racists.

@suzanne_moore That’s what I felt too about Ian jack, that he had my back. So I could afford to take risks, because he would rein me in when I went too far. I’ve never had an editor I trusted so much. And, as you said, a lovely writer and kind friend.

Sad to hear of the death of the kind and wonderful Ian Jack. The richness of his writing made his columns so special and unique. He could make you interested in anything. His advice to me whenever I needed it was so important. He made many of us feel he had our backs. A real loss

@HadleyFreeman Like you, devastated by loss of Ian jack. I was so lucky to have had him as my editor and I remember his gentle way of correcting me when he felt I had gone over the top.

Oh I’m just devastated to hear about the death of Ian Jack. One of the most erudite and beautiful writers around - whatever he wrote about, he did it like no one else. And on top of that, a brilliant editor and gentle, generous man. What a sad, painful loss

Just heard that Ian jack died. He was my wonderful editor on the independent on Sunday and also published my memoir an education when he was editor of granta. I owe him so much.

Tom Bradby on itv has done brilliant queen coverage. Bbc dull by comparison.

What’s happened to kindle? I’ve been using it for years but latest book I bought pwent to something called cloud reader never to be found. And, worse, the several hundred books in my kindle library seem to have disappeared
