I appreciate this update. I have been keenly following this handle since it came into existence and outside the noise recently, it's my only gauge of where we are headed in the @lukso_io journey. I always eagerly look forward to seeing posts from the @ERC725Account handle, all thanks to the handlers and the DevRel Team (@buzea200). I am so bullish for the days/weeks/months/years ahead. I am also using this quoted post as my case study submission for why I want to be accepted into the next cohort of the @DevrelUni program starting soon. The Developer Relation (DevRel) role in any web3 project today has become an important component that should be given a very high priority if a project wants to succeed in the long haul. History has shown that poor DevRel team especially in web3 has led to the untimely death of projects that once held high potential. The reason for the importance of this fairly new/evolving job type is that they are specialists in detailing updates in a simplified and understandable bit, answering tech and non-tech questions from the community or developer community as well as being the communication bridge between the core developers, helper developers, and the product users/public community. In fact, it's safe to say the DevRel team links all departments together in a way that they can communicate in a common language. Not too techie, not too crude. The perfect blend of the requisite tech knowledge (minimal in some cases depending on the industry), analytical, listening, and comprehension skills needed for clear forward and backward communication are among the main reasons that working as a DevRel expert appeals to me. Being accepted into the next cohort will be an opportunity for me to hone my skills to be more useful to web3 projects that I support (e.g @lukso_io) in an official/unofficial way as a DevRel Expert, and I believe having a head start through @DevrelUni will be the perfect opportunity seeing they have established themself in the wider tech industry as the go-to place for beginners and advanced learners alike. Some of the resource persons like @buzea200 on the list of tutors are among the best you can find in the industry and what an opportunity it will be to be a student learning under them.

IMO, it's only a thin line that exists between activities that attracts users and those that bring builders. Somehow the crypto space has shown most times that where users go is usually where builders focus to build. Builders go there to satisfy the thirst of early users and over time some are converted to chain maximalist. So they are mutually dependent. In addition it's easier to get users en mass than builders through the usual hackathons

What if you’re trying to attract active builders on other chains? Surely they’d take the airdrop, see no real value, and then leave? (Because they haven’t taken time to look at the tools) This must only ge good for users? But some project prioritise builders over users depending on what stage in their growth they’re at.

Projects spend $20-50k on conference sponsorships multiple times a year and get virtually zero ROI. What if we airdropped $50K to normal people & put up advertising campaigns about crypto en masse? Then we do grassroots crypto education & get them to use defi primitives- make a swap, stake, lend, etc. 5-10K new *real users* transacting onchain & generating organic network activity. 10k people telling their friends how they made “free money” from crypto & helping them create wallets. Gonna do this starting in Medellin— if any teams want to be a part of this HMU 🫡 Bulla is the perfect time to experiment and cost of acquisition is relatively cheap in places like Colombia
