It hurts to get a grant rejection with positive science reviews, negatives citing lack of productivity. Lab opened in 2018, baby in 2018, COVID 2020-current (+ two kids), my dad died in 2021. That plus papers in review forever (+1yr); why do you think publishing is slow?
