Update:02 Movement of Ash cloud from yesterday’s #HayliGubbi Volcano eruption. The Ash cloud has now entered Indian subcontinent from Western #Rajasthan region and it is moving NorthEastwards at an speed of 120-130km/h. The plume is rich in Sulfur dioxide with low-moderate concentrations of Ash/glass/rock particles and it currently lies over #Jodhpur-#Jaislamer-#Phalodi region and it will move NorthEastwards and impact other NW-C parts of #Rajasthan, #Haryana in next 2 hrs and #Delhi and Ncr by 10pm-12am and later #Punjab and foothills of NW #UttarPradesh and Hills by mid night-morning. Some areas of #Gujarat will be impacted later by a trail seen attached with the plume •There is less to worry about as ash cloud lies between 25,000-45,000 feet up in the atmosphere but there could be some precipitation from ash fall. •What more to expect? -The skies will turn somewhat dark and may look weird and funny. -Sunrise may light up some particles during the twilight. -AQI levels will remains awful as usual -Low/No concentration of Ash at lower levels as per limited consensus.
