I’m really pleased to see the works ramping up to reduce the speed limit from 40 to 30mph on 27 of our city’s roads. I’m fully behind this change and today, I went out to see the sign replacement teams in action. This change can’t come soon enough, so I even gave them a helping hand! Lower speeds mean safer streets for everyone especially pedestrians, cyclists, and our most vulnerable road users. A huge thank you to the dedicated teams making this happen. Your work is saving lives💚
