@Aella_Girl Those kinds of questions are hard. Literally no idea if words totally unrelated to kinky/vanilla etc. are more kinky or vanilla. Happy to randomly select but then I doubt that would inform anything.

I think i invented the best personality test. Hear me out:
1. Take the word "gargoyle". If you HAD to class them, would gargoyles be more kinky or vanilla? What about more chad or frumpy? Are they more chiller or builder?
I had people vote a series of 6 binary questions for every word I could think of, and then ended up with a huge pile of correlated words. Like: If you look at the KINKY, CHAD, CHILL category, you get a bunch of the words that got voted into that same concept.
So - what about *you*? Vote *yourself* through the gates, and you'll find yourself landed in a pile of all the other words that got voted the same as you!
That's how I got 'the operator'.

i’ve been trying to go to the gym and gain weight recently after being anorexic basically my entire life and i never realized how difficult it is to eat 2,000 calories a day. you genuinely just have to not stop eating all day. this is ridiculous

@Aella_Girl Interesting. In technical fields this isn't nearly so cut and dry, in a way I assume would be relevant.
For example, I'm in tech and my manager is responsible for the platform our team builds, but I call most of the shots on what we're building. Neither of us are "the boss".

a long time ago i had the experience of chatting irl with someone well known on twitter, well connected, well platformed, influential, etc. He was smart, seemed to have domain expertise in his technical field. But gradually over the course of the conversation I realized he didn't actually know what he was talking about.
He used complicated words, but in subtly off ways, and would reply to questions with things that sounded like answers but actually weren't.He'd confidently reference concepts that I think he assumed I didn't know, but I did know, and I knew that the term he used didn't actually have anything to do with his claim, etc.
But his confidence was intense and radiating, and the speed at which he talked and the complex vocabulary he used really disguised what I perceived to be both a lack of deep understanding of the material and also a lack of self-awareness that he didn't have deep understanding!
I've def met people who disagree with me online who I think *do* engage deeply with the concepts, but this specific one didn't, and it was a little blackpilling for me to realize that he had such a following from a bunch of people who couldn't tell the difference.

This is why I'm against the whole "polyamory is a sexual orientation" framing. Most people's "true sexuality" is that they want sex and/or intimacy with >1 person! If it's an orientation it's the majority one

they run multiple agents in parallel and act more like managers than engineers.
his friend said if you're just watching an agent code, you're already behind
that idle time should be spent spinning up another agent and directing it somewhere else.
the point is that the new method isn't "use AI to code faster."
it's "you are the product manager, the agents are your engineers, and your job is to keep all of them running at all times"

Letting our kids be kids also means getting back to the basics. That’s why, earlier this year, I signed into law a bipartisan bill that requires cursive handwriting to be taught in Pennsylvania schools.
It may seem strange, but cursive handwriting is a fundamental skill that all of our kids should learn.
They may not get why now, but that’s how they’ll sign their very first check — or maybe even someday, a bill that gets to the Governor’s desk (trust me, you’ll want good penmanship for that).
And it means they spend more time with a pen — not a tablet — in their hands at school.

had a conversation last night about how i seem to be missing a large chunk of american cultural training data which leads me to generalize wrongly when confronted with new concepts like "drone kink" or "eugenics kink" or "Master-slave" - i go to knowledge i learned from science or history books as my nearest references, but apparently there's a whole corpus of video and internet content which developed and transformed these concepts into something quite different?
it frustrates me there's a whole canon i'm missing which makes me look ignorant and stupid, but which also seems mostly not to my taste and would pollute my existing knowledge of concepts with slop popularizations? do i go study it and if so how, when apparently everyone else just picked it up as a child without effort? also does this prove i'm autistic?

Sure… Vegas is “dead.” Meanwhile, inside the Bellagio Conservatory — packed every day. Here’s the reality people don’t want to admit: Vegas didn’t die… it filtered. Post-Covid, they let anyone in just to survive. Cheap rooms, chaos, TikTok fights, people crying about $20 water in the desert. Now? That era’s over. Prices went up. Vibe cleaned up. And the people who can actually afford to be here showed back up. If you think Vegas is dead… you’re probably just not the target customer anymore. And judging by the crowds — they’re perfectly fine with that.
