I taught Claude to talk like a caveman to use 75% less tokens. normal claude: ~180 tokens for a web search task caveman claude: ~45 tokens for the same task "I executed the web search tool" = 8 tokens caveman version: "Tool work" = 2 tokens every single grunt swap saves 6-10 tokens. across a FULL task that's 50-100 tokens saved why does it work? caveman claude doesn't explain itself. it does its task first. gives the result. then stops. no "I'd be happy to help you with that." no "Let me search the web for you" no more unnecessary filler words "result. done. me stop." 50-75% burn reduction with usage limits getting tighter every week this might be the most practical hack out there right now

Genuine question on a restaurant situation: You walk up to a counter to order. You find your own table and seat yourself. If you order coffee, they hand you a cup and you go fill it up yourself. If you order food, they hand you a buzzer and when it goes off, you go pick it up yourself. The iPad has a “20%, 25%, 30%, Other” tip option, with 20% already preselected. What’s your move?

The DOJ is once again purposefully muddying the waters on who was a predator and who was mentioned in an email. To have Janis Joplin, who died when Epstein was 17, in the same list as Larry Nassar, who went to prison for the sexual abuse of hundreds of young women and child pornography, with no clarification of how either was mentioned in the files is absurd. Release the full files. Stop protecting predators. Redact only the survivor's names.
