@zdch The classical analogy is to the prisoners dilemma, where defecting is game theoretic optimal

@zdch It is explicitly postulated that agents are maximizing local self interest in typical setups, and expectations to the contrary are to be stated, not inferred

@drivelinekyle you use this for planning and spec development but presumably not implementation? or do you have the robots QA one another?

You may remember (doubt it) that I previously built a webUI for MoA and called it ensemble-llm. It was quite useful, but building it into an agentic coding harness allows for seamless autonomous integration. Anyway for the 3 people who read this stuff and care, enjoy.

Been getting a lot of value out of a /mixture-of-agents skill in Claude Code inspired by the namesake paper from 2024. I use a Proposer-Refiner-Aggregator workflow with Gemini and Codex CLIs. Helps with deep spec-driven dev workflows. arxiv.org/abs/2406.04692

Despite my well-known Millennial Supremacy, our most irritating habit by a lot is the compulsion to invent insanely complicated concept grammar for basic phenomena that allows us to experience those basic phenomena as affectively meaning-providing and identity-bolstering.

This elegantly captures the most offensive thing about Adult Braces: West is driving through middle America, cruelly judging those she encounters—many of them service workers—while seemingly unaware that these are places where there is way less fatphobia than enlightened Seattle.

@m_mccall Engine wants me to play a4 and trade off LSBs, which I can’t do if I move my rook. The bishop pair definitely made things harder so I see why Rae1 isn’t the best. I forget why Qh5 isn’t ideal

The @CLTchesscenter says that I reached 2400 FIDE in my live rating. I have 4 IM norms, so this means I'm now an IM-elect. Thanks to them for consistently organizing these events, and thank you to my family, friends, coach, and everyone who has supported me along the way. ♟️😃

I played an FM in round 3 of my norm tournament. And I won! I messed up the opening though, and we reached a queenless middlegame where I was worse. Below he took Rxb7. This is a mistake after Rd2+ Bxd2 Rxd2+ Kg3 Rxa2 when I should be better with 2 minor pieces for the rook.

@thestrongchess I appreciate that the Milner-Berry is sufficiently hipster than after Nbd2 even old experts have a think but it’s a bit embarrassing all around

Won my Monday tournament game tonight. My opponent miscalculated his knight sac and the rest was simple for me. He was a good sport. Chesscom says 92.8% accuracy on my end if that means anything idk. Gotta figure out when it’s time to play Nd5 in the English
