Americans need to understand some cultural things about India: 1. They are tough negotiators. They'll never accept a bad deal. 2. They hate being bullied. They won't respond violently. But they won't budge either. 3. Indians are very patriotic. If push came to shove they'll all rally behind the nation no matter what the cost. President Trump's belligerent attitude will not help America. It may work with NATO nations, but India has lived for years when America was hostile to it. India is used to that hostility. President Trump can tweet a million insults and India will not take the bait.
