I have a hard time being present and actively grateful. I’m grateful to be alive. By all accounts, I should be dead by now, given how I treated myself. I’m grateful for my wife, the yin to my yang and my best friend. For my children. They are the most important part of my life. For the lessons I’ve learned, and for the decisions that taught them, both good and bad. For sobriety. It has forced me to face the things I ran from my entire life, especially being in my own skin. I’m grateful for good books. Thank God there is still something that can pull me away from the screen. I’m grateful for the ability to connect with new people through Genfinity, to create content, and to contribute, hopefully in a positive way, to growth and knowledge in Web3. I’m grateful for the team that makes it possible. To wake up each day with another chance to learn, to make mistakes, to improve, and to live. To God, through whom all things are possible. That I’m starting to work out again in a meaningful way, and that I’m beginning to break free from past injuries that once felt like they would define my future. That, occasionally, I realize I don’t need to be liked by everyone, and that not being perfect is okay. I’m grateful for every person who has supported me or my content on X or YouTube, especially those who have been here since the beginning. I didn’t plan to write this, but I’m grateful I did.
