@RWApodcast I read it. I understand what he said. I also understand he’s lying his *ss off. I know about the weekly chants of “Death to America.” I know of the many American soldiers that he caused to be killed and maimed. I know of the many women who he’s had killed and tortured.

Pezeshkian wrote a 1,000-word open letter to the American people. It is objectively very short and to the point. But I am afraid he is a victim of the Iranian tradition of overestimating American attention spans and cognitive capabilities.

Trump used satire & colloquial layers, generously (and mockingly) extending "president" to the new Khamenei (Mojtaba, new Supreme MIA) to highlight Iran's 47-year theocratic oppression where no "president" like Pezeshkian is real, given the loyalty checks & weeding out by ayatollahs/Guardian Council that vet every candidate. Iranians mastered symbolic resistance long ago. Analogy: If there's any true new President, it's @PahlaviReza leading a transitional government for real regime change & freedom, not swapping tyrants. Trump gets the multi-dimensional game. He is a master of speaking in layers without even having experienced first-hand the suffering of Iranians fighting for freedom and democracy.
