An easier example is the computation of multiplying a number by 0. It takes a high entropy uniform distribution over numbers and turns it into a very low entropy one. But when you implement it physically you must consume free energy and increase the entropy of the universe

The reversing computational process turning high entropy distributions into low entropy ones is only an apparent violation of 2nd law; when you consider the entire system of computer+power source and free energy they consume, overall entropy increases; same for life on earth+sun
