I started writing on X a few years ago to just give a more accurate account of option dynamics than what existed at the time, and to also rubbish some of the prior Option larps. But the reality is that I used to write these updates in near real time, when the options were trading at the same time as the spot moves or preceding them, BUT a) There was growing plagiarism on X, in paid groups, substacks, and even daily client reports, without even a h/t. b) I'm also trading the flows, so I don't have time to write up a detailed analysis at busy times. So the Deribit reports became high-level overviews; I think still useful and requested, but arguably asynchronous. And I now publish real-time significant trades/thoughts in a couple of private groups. As I write in my pinned tweet, [Option flows] 'give an insight into the psyche, the fears, pain points and euphoria of individual players and the market as a collective environment.' Thankfully, we all get our alpha in different ways.
